Auto-record starts a recording when people join a voice channel.

Enable Auto-Record

  1. Open the dashboard and select your server
  2. Go to Settings → Auto-Record
  3. Turn on Enable Auto-Record
  4. Add voice channels to record using the Add Voice Channel button
  5. For each channel, choose where the transcript gets posted
  6. Click Save Changes

Minimum People

Set the minimum number of people required in a voice channel before auto-recording starts. Defaults to 1 (recording starts when anyone joins). For example, set this to 2 so recordings only begin when at least two people are in the channel.

Choosing Channels

Add specific voice channels to record using the Add Voice Channel button. For each channel, you choose where the transcript gets posted — this can be a text channel or a voice channel's built-in text chat.

Each channel must have a transcript channel configured.

Recording Updates

Auto-record posts live transcript updates and status messages to the transcript channel you configure for each voice channel. If the bot or your account is missing permissions for a channel, the UI will show a warning.

Stopping A Recording

Use End Recording in Discord to stop an auto-recorded session. If the bot is removed from the voice channel (kicked, permissions revoked, or channel deleted), the recording ends automatically.
