How to use /tts in your Discord voice channels
Use /tts while you are in a voice channel to have NoteCat speak a message aloud.
You can use it during an active recording or as a one-off without starting /record.
How To Use It
- Join a voice channel
- Type
/tts - Enter the message you want NoteCat to say
- Submit the command
What Happens
- If NoteCat is already recording in your voice channel, it plays the TTS audio into that session
- The spoken message is included in the final recording
- The TTS message also appears in the transcript
- If there is no active recording, NoteCat joins your voice channel, speaks the message, and disconnects shortly after
Requirements
- You must be in a voice channel to use
/tts - If NoteCat is already recording in a different voice channel, you need to join that channel before using
/tts
Limits
- Messages are limited to 500 characters
/ttshas a short per-user cooldown to prevent spam- Profanity filtering is applied to the message before it is spoken
